By age 13, Michelle launched her own hand-painted T-shirt business, later studying Graphic Design and Visual Communications at the Art Institute of Atlanta. For over three decades, she has mentored marginalized youth through art, spoken word, and history, creating diversion programs for juvenile detention centers in Atlanta and Montgomery.

Michelle is also the creator and sculptor behind the powerful Mothers of Gynecology Monument, reshaping conversations around maternal and women's health.
Her groundbreaking work has been featured by PBS News Hour, National Geographic, The New York Times, and numerous other national outlets. Through bold storytelling, community engagement, and historical truth-telling, Michelle Browder continues to uplift underrepresented voices and challenge oppressive narratives.
