Kylar Wiltz is a physician leader, health policy advocate, and community organizer working at the forefront of health equity and systems-level reform. A graduate of Howard University and Xavier University of Louisiana, Kylar’s work spans direct patient care, public health research, and national policy advocacy. He has led disability rights efforts with the National Disability Rights Network and advanced civic engagement and health equity initiatives through Vote HBCU, mobilizing communities at the intersection of health, policy, and democracy. Beginning residency this fall with a focus on preventative medicine and public health, Kylar is committed to building sustainable, community-centered health systems, with a long-term vision of leading a hospital system and serving as a national champion for healthcare reform.
